About Us

Wight Office Machines Inc, has been doing business in Fort Smith since 1929. The original founder
was Mr. O. B. Williamson who represented Underwood Corporation and Smith Corona. In 1960
Marion O. Wight and his wife, Dorothy R. Wight purchased the business from Mr. Williamson and
began a relationship with Olivetti and Silver Reed Corporations while employing six people.
Their son Michael A. Wight began working with the company in 1970 and has been President of
the Corporation since 1981.

Wight Office Machines has been in the business community with the same family ownership for  50 years with over 3000 customers. In 2005 Michael opened a branch in Russellville AR. Currently we service customers within a 100 mile radius of Fort Smith and Russellville. We represent such manufacturers as Kyocera Mita, Duplo, Muratec and HSM of America.

Our philosophy is to establish a long-term business relationship with our customers, including new and old, and are always open for suggestions to improve our service to you. Having reached our 80 year milestone, we continue to build upon the foundation of dedication, loyalty, service & dependability. Our commitment is not only the fast changing needs of our customers, but also the future of our environment.
